Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries: Pine Cone Ornament Tutorial

I don't know when all of you put your trees up and decorating them, but I like to wait for about 10 days before Christmas. Even if you do it earlier you can still make theses really cute pine cone elves ornaments for your tree. I found them on Martha Stewart. I think I will have to make these for my grandkids.

Happy crafting!

Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries: Fall Decorating and Hurricane Vases

Well made it to September and the start of my favorite time of year. I LOVE FALL! I love all the colors of autumn and all the decorating, sewing and crafting you can do during the fall. I thought we would start with some fall leaf decorating with hurricane vases. Amanda Jane Brown shows us how she made a fall decoration using hurricane vases, candles, corn and leaves. Looks really nice and "easy". Yep....my kind of project. :)

So get started on your fall decorating with a nice centerpiece like this.

So I found this blog at Styletic.com that has several different ideas of how to use Mason Jars for Christmas decorating. There are links to several sites that gives you instructions on how to do the DIY project so why not check some of them out. There is still lots of time left to add these to your decorating. :)
