Free Knitting Patterns

Today I'd like to share a few FREE knitting patterns I found on one of my internet journeys.

Since it's so close to Valentine's Day, I couldn't resist sharing these gorgeous little hearts from www.ravelry.com

That groundhog is trying to tell us we're having an early spring here in Ohio, but as I am typing this snow is falling here like crazy. It's still winter and there's still time to make a new hat, as far as I'm concerned. :-) Find out how to make this one at www.coloradomoms.com

These gorgeous towels with knit trim would be pretty no matter what the season. These would make a great bridal or wedding gift. Instructions can be found at www.tlc.howstuffworks.com

Easter isn't too far away. Wouldn't a basket full of these bunnies be adorable? This pattern can also be found at www.ravelry.com

Hope you've enjoyed the free patterns.

Tuesday Tutorial - Winter Accessories

The way this year has flown by it probably won't be long before winter arrives.   I thought I would share some cold weather tutorials today.

You have plenty of time to get some of these items made before then.   And they would also make great Christmas gifts.

These are classic leg warmers that are back in style again.   Tutorial to knit these is on Fave Crafts.

I love these fingerless gloves.   I wear them a lot in the winter.

Crochet pattern instructions at Crochet Spot.

How about some cute animal hats for babies.  Instructions to make these is at Serendipity Crochet.

And we can't forget scarfs. Here is a beginner knitting pattern from Dana Must Knit.

Hope you enjoy making some of these fall/winter accessories.

Organizing Crochet/Knitting Supplies

Do you knit or crochet? Do you have trouble keeping track of your needles, hooks and yarn? If so, we've found some great organizational ideas to help you out.

On www.planetjune.com we found this really cute Roll-Up case for storing your crochet hooks. She has step by step instructions with photos. How cute this would be made from your favorite fabrics.

Here's another similar item made to store your knitting needles from multicrafty.blogspot.com Oh... how handy it would be to have them all in one place.

We also found this one that's made similar to the others. It's from www.turkeycookies.blogspot.com. So cute and nice with the different sized pockets.

And check this out... what a great idea for organizing yarn. There's instructions with photos on how to make it. www.leethal.net. It's a work of art in itself.

Need an easy way to keep your yarn clean and organized while working on a project? Check out this upcycled oatmeal box yarn holder from A Bit of Sunshine.

All of these are such great ideas. Do you have an tip or secret to keeping your crochet/knittng supplies organized? We'd love to hear from you. Be sure to let us know by leaving a comment.

Have a great week!
