I know that Valentine's Day is tomorrow and we will be moving on to St. Patrick's Day, but I still thought we could look at this tutorial to make a heart mug rug because hearts can go in your decorating all year around. It is from Jacquelynne Steves and she makes it look very easy.
I always like to look at things from yesteryear...yes....I am aging myself. LOL! :) I thought with Valentine's Day just around the corner we could look at some vintage Valentine's Day from Etsy......... Of course you can't look back at vintage Valentine's Day without showing the cards that all of us from way back when use to give to our school mates. This is a nice collection from smileitsvintage.
How about this really cute bell figure with all it's hearts that AvasHopeChest has. It is so cute and colorful.
Remember the chocolate boxes they use to have? This one from pinkchicboutique shows just how elaborate they were. Very pretty.
How about this fold out Valentine's card from the 1900's that talkingbirdie has! Talk about elaborate and detailed. They really made some neat things back then. :)
Well these are just a few of the vintage Valentine's that I found to go down memory lane. Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!
