Organizing ----- Green Cleaning Product Recipes

With all the toxins in our lives,  it makes sense to make your own cleaning products.    Did you know that white vinegar kills most mold, bacteria and germs?    Many homemade green products contain vinegar.
These are some of the cleaners we use in our home.

Drain Cleaner
Pour 1 cup of baking soda down your drain followed by 1 cup of hot white vinegar.   Let sit for five or 10 minutes and then flush with hot water.
Caution:  do not use this method after using a commercial drain opener--the vinegar can react with the drain opener to create dangerous fumes.

All Purpose Spray Cleaner
Fill a spray bottle with half vinegar,  half water and 1 teaspoon of dish detergent.

All Purpose Cleanser
We use baking soda in place of cleanser.   Just sprinkle baking soda on pots and pans, sinks, bread boards,
etc.   Wet with enough water to make a paste and scrub.

Do you have a favorite homemade cleaner that works for you?
