Thank you all so much for the warm welcomes, well wishes and overwhelming confidence in me to take over the By Your Hands blog. I am humbled to say the least by the comments and private messages I have received.

Bette and Deena started with the vision to promote handmade artisans in a variety of forums from spotlighting shops, posting treasuries from Etsy, tutorials, recipes and the list goes on. I will continue to follow in their footsteps, but those are big shoes to fill!

It is my desire that we will have a long and fulfilling relationship together. I look forward to getting to know you not only in a professional manner but also in a personal way.

To give you a little background on me. I am married 35 years, have two grown daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. I am the owner of the web business, Farmer's Attic as well as an Etsy shop under the same name. I also Captain an amazing Etsy team, The Old Farmhouse Gathering team. I have crafted nearly all of my life and truly prefer handcrafted over manufactured any day!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

First off today I would like to congratulate Lucy and thank her sooooooo much for taking over this great blog! I for one am so happy it is continuing. There are always so many good posting on this wonderful blog from tutorials, spotlight shops, recipes ( I personally love these!) and so much more. 

I am also so excited that Lucy has asked me to continue with my Tuesday postings. I am flattered that I was asked to continue writing for the blog as I do like sharing so many things with all of you. The ideas just fly through my mind all the time. I hope you enjoy reading my postings as much as I like doing them.

So....being that said I will start posting on Tuesday's again starting next Tuesday. :)

I am so happy this blog is going on and looking forward to reading all the postings! Thank you again Lucy! :)
