Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries: Recycling Barnwood

I love the look of old barnwood. My husband actually made me a kitchen cabinet out of recycled barnwood years ago and we put it in our mountain cabin. Actually over the years he has made lots of recycled barnwood items. 

I think the old barnwood gives your home such a nice country homey feeling. With that said.....let's visit some Etsy shops to see what we can find that would make a great addition to your home decor....


Every house has a clock of some fashion. With all the digital and high tech now a days this old fashion clock from ThePinkToolBox that is made from barnwood brings back the way we use to tell time.  

Barnwood always make good frames. Either it be pictures or mirrors. This frame from allthingsrustix show how nice a barnwood frame can be. 

Do you have a country/rustic decor? If you do I bet you have a few barnwood signs. Barnwood signs should be in every rustic decor I think. So many different kinds of signs can he had. I like this one from BarnwoodDecorOKc. Welcomes everyone to your home. :)

Then my favorite is the recycle barnwood bird house! I love my birds! I have so many birds around here both summer and winter. I don't have any barnwood locally, but my hubby has made many bird houses out of cedar for our feathered friends.
