Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries: Quilt As You Go Placemats

Time for summer picnics and along with that come placemats for the picnic table so I found this tutorial for making placemats and you can quilt them as you go. Looks pretty easy so get those sewing machines out and start sewing.

Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries: Upcycle Your Patio

Hopefully most of you are enjoying the summer sun and sitting on your patio soaking up the rays. I try to in between rain days. :(  I thought today we would look at some Etsy shops and see what we can find from the "upcycle" community that we can use to dress up our patio's. :)

 First...all patio's need a table to put those cold drinks on. Now I am not a wine drinker so I would probably put my lemonade on this table. CreativeGrafixKS has this great recycled barnwood table. 

Now I have actually seen one of these chairs in person. I think it was in Colorado somewhere. What I great idea UpcycledDesignsBoise has for repurposing those old ski's . :)

Every patio needs a wind chime...well unless you live where there is so much wind that it would blow it away! Here is a cute one from NevaStarr. I love the cute little faces on the spoons. 

It is so nice to sit on the patio at night once the day has cooled down and enjoy the mild evening. I don't have any dark up here in the summer (LOL!), but for those that do...why not have this candle sitting on the table you just made from the recycle barnwood that I should you earlier. :)  RedPoodle has this one available. Great idea for using those rose vases you may have sitting around. 

There are many, many ideas of upcycled items for your patio. These are a few and I am sure the list goes on and on. :)
