Organizing ----- Curtain Rods

Curtain rods aren't just for curtains any more.   Today I am sharing some ideas for using tension curtain rods for organizing.

Use tension rods to separate pans, platters or cutting boards.  Photo from Martha

A great way to keep pan lids organized from Imperfect Home.

Or stretch a tension rod across your undersink cabinet to keep spray bottles organized from A Thousand Words.  I think I would add some brackets to the sides to hold the tension rod up.   All that weight would most likely cause it to slide down.

  1. What great tips!!! I'm going to use the tip for the pot lids!

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. This is definitely one of the most original organizing ideas I've ever seen! now I just have to look for very short curtain rods (:

  3. I like the idea of the under sink one, frees up some space...I use one (shower rod)in the laundry room to hang clean clothes from the dryer on....

  4. Great ideas! I think the under the sink rod would easily help me to find those spray cleaners more quickly. They can get lost in the abyss of that cabinet!

  5. Ahh, of course! These are excellent ideas. Thanks ladies :o)

  6. What great ideas! Am going to have to put my extra tension rods to work! Thanks for sharing.
