Basket Storage Ideas...

If you're like me, you're always looking for creative ways to store things. One of the things I find myself doing a lot is using baskets to store things in, especially my craft supplies.

My workspace is small, so I like to "hide" as much away as I can, otherwise it's just a mess. On one wall, in my work room I have shelves and I use bread baskets to store things like glue sticks, markers, ink pads, rubber stamps, etc. These may not be the best basket for the shelf, but I found them on sale for $1 each. I can't pass up a good bargain.

While searching the internet and ran across quite a few others using baskets for storage. But the great thing about the ones I'm sharing with you is, they're all handmade.

Check out this Felted Basket on I think it's really cute and she has a link for a downloadable pattern for it.

Another cute basket idea I found was on there is also a free PDF file there to download the instructions so we all can make our own.

I think this is a really clever for magazine storage. It's not a basket, but it was too inventive to pass up. A magazine holder crafted from a cereal box.

Bette has a tutorial on her blog for making pantry baskets. These could easily be changed to store things in your craft room too.

All of these ideas prove that you don't need a lot of money to be creative in your storage. If you have any ideas, please leave us a comment and share what you have.
