Tuesday Tutorial - DIY Upcycled Jack-O-Lanterns

What I'm sharing today are not your "typical" jack-o-lanterns, they're not even made from pumpkins, but they sure are cute... some are even scary, but all are made from items you'd normally throw away.

These luminaries are made from painted jars. You will find complete instructions to make these at www.craftsbyamanda.com

These jack-o-lanterns made from 2 liter bottles look fun, easy and ohh sooo cute. Instructions can be found at www.dltk-holidays.com

Check out these "Spirit Jugs". I know, they're not jack-o-lanterns, but they are pretty clever! Instructions can be found at www.eighteen25.blogspot.com

Now it's time to starting saving jars, jugs and bottles so you can make a lot of fun halloween crafts.

Thanks for visiting!

Organizing - Getting Your Blog Organized

Most bloggers, like us, are busy with other things as well as keeping our blog up to date. At times it can be a challenge to keep your thoughts and posts organized or even remember if we've blogged on the same topic before.

Today, I'd like to share some FREE PRINTABLES I found to help us keep our blogs and ideas organized.

The first one is from www.ohthelovelythings.blogspot.com  Be sure to visit their blog and download the file if you like this one.

Another set of printables I found were for these adorable journal pages. They aren't necessarily for blogging, but they could be used to jot down your ideas and possibly come back to later for inspiration. No matter how you choose to use them, they're really cute. (they are many others besides what's shown here) They can be downloaded at www.graceisoverrated.com

This next one is really nice too. It's titled "My Blog Topics" and it pretty much covers everything from keywords to promotion. It can be found at www.perideaudesigns.com

And last, but not least, we have a printable blog topic list. It's from www.erinvaledesign.com  Three of these lists will print on one piece of paper, and each list has spaces for every day of the week.

Hope you find something that will help with your blog organization.

Enjoy your week!

Blog Party Sunday -- Show Us Your Handmades

Welcome to our Blog Party Sunday.   The fall crafting season is in full swing.   We would love to have you show us what you have been making.

You are allowed to add 3 links to your shops and you don't have to be a selling crafter to show off your art.    Even if you only craft for your own pleasure we want to see it,  so don't hesitate to join in.

The rules are simple:

1. Follow our blog

2. Handmade items only.

3. You may list up to 3 items.

4. Family friendly items only.

The success of this link party depends on the participants so spread the word to your friends, visit the shops, post about it on your blog, in a forum or on your favorite social networking site, grab the button and put it on your blog or website.

Just click on the Add Your Link button below and add your items.

And if you would like to add a link to the party you can grab this button below.
