This next one from is put together with bookcases and hollow core doors. This is a bit big for the average craft room but I could see one made half the size. From the Ivy Cottage Blog.

This last one has no directions but would be easy enough to put together. An old file cabinet at one end, porch posts on the other and topped with an old door and a piece of glass.

Organizing - Holiday Gift Wrapping

When it comes to holiday gift wrapping, it's a good idea to have a plan before you begin. There are many ways to go about your wrapping but today I'm sharing how I do mine.

I do all my wrapping at once if I can. I start by separating the gifts by size. Larger ones, in one area, medium and smaller ones in other areas.

Then, I gather all my supplies; scissors, tape, wrapping paper, bows, ribbons, tags and a couple of ink pens, don't forget to grab a trash bag for easy clean-up.

I like to work in the middle of my living room floor, I always vacuum first, then I put on some Christmas music or a movie and wrap away. If you don't like sitting on the floor, your dining table would work just as well.

Since most of my wrapping is for my kids' gifts, to save some time I write out several tags for each child first, it makes it easy to attach to the present and also helps so you don't forget who it's for.

I start wrapping the larger packages first and save the scraps of paper that look large enough to wrap the smaller packages and place them all in one pile, then continue on to the smaller gifts.

When I am all finished wrapping, I place the wrapped gifts in three different bags or boxes (one for each child) and hide them away so Santa can find them. If you don't have young children you could place them under your tree or separate them into bags or boxes for places they need to go.... ie. Grandma's house, Aunt Sally's house etc.

Tuesday Tutorial ---- Holiday Napkin Rings

Today we have a guest poster, Sally from All Things Homey.
She is sharing her tutorial for Holiday Napkin Rings.

DIRECTIONS FOR NAPKIN RINGS:
Fold napkin ring paper or card-stock, wrong sides together.
Open folds, using glue stick, glue entire wrong side area.
Fold on fold lines. Press out any air bubbles.
Roll short ends together and glue overlapping ends using tacky glue. Clip, using paper clips or clothes pins, until dry.
Burnish edges with Distress ink.
For extra strength and protection, cover with Mod-Podge.
Add Harvest or Christmas Acorns with hot glue.
Tie ribbon in small bow and hot glue to top of acorns.

DIRECTIONS FOR ACORNS:
A. Cut fabric circles 1 1/2" in diameter. Using double thread and needle, Baste around edge of fabric. Pull thread a little to draw up circle.
Put a fiber fill ball into fabric circle.
B. Pull threads tightly and knot thread, clip thread.
C. Using hot glue gun, glue ball into acorn cap. Add button on top of bow if desired.
Repeat for all Acorns.

You can send me a message telling me what you need and I will make a custom order just for you.
I also have in my shop other items made from the stuffed acorns that might give you some decorating ideas.

Today I am sharing a fun idea. Turning a table into an animal bed. You can use end tables with legs or enclosed end tables.

Basically, you just turn a table upside down, paint it and add a pillow.

Or remove doors, tops, etc. from side tables.

Leave the top on and continue to use it as a table while your pet uses the bottom as a bed.
